KINGDOM JAMES MAKES ANOTHER DEFENCE OF THE UNION TITLE

On

Anthony Kingdom James isn’t waiting for Never Say Never this August to defend the Wrestlers Union Championship. On Sunday April 14th, Kingdom traveled to Hamilton, Ontario to face off against “Kung Fu” Logan Savage in a match hosted by our partner promotion, New School Wrestling.

Savage, a 16-year veteran of the Ontario and Michigan independent scenes is a former NSW InterCities and Brass Knuckles champion. With his impressive mix of pro wrestling and mixed martial arts abilities, Logan was handpicked by New School management for this title shot.

This was not to be Logan Savage’s day, however. Kingdom took advantage of a near-collision between the challenger and referee Jon Clarke to deliver a low-blow followed by his finishing maneuver, a ripcord lariat clothesline which he has dubbed The Wave Motion Gun.

This was Kingdom’s fifth successful defence of the title and second since returning from injury at the beginning of the year.

As we await the official announcement of Kingdom’s championship opponent for Never Say Never, “The Smartest Man Who Ever Lived” has vowed to continue defending the Union title “whenever and wherever a worthy wrestling company offers up a worthy challenger”.
